Isadora Duncan is considered the originator of Modern Dance. Her ideas on education and art inspired many great artists and thinkers. Her contemporary dancing was called "natural" because her movement vocabulary consisted only of motions shared by all humankind. The french sculptor, Auguste Rodin, inspired by Isadora's dance said"She has attained sculpture and emotion effortlessly. She has borrowed from Nature that force which cannot be called Talent but which is Genius."
